چکیده
در لایه های پنهان و عمیق کتاب گلستان سعدی شاید بتوان به راز هنر داستان نویسی او نزدیک شد. علوم ادبی قدیم (معانی،بیان، بدیع،عروض و قافیه)در این راه قطعا لازمند ولی کافی نیستند. در این لایه های پنهان چیزی غیر از آرایه های لفظی و معنوی مثل سجع و تلمیح و ...هست که درعین پیدایی پنهان است.با باز تعریف عناصر داستانی در مرحله اول (به گونه ای که در نثر سعدی کاربردی شوند) و پس از آن کنکاش در متن می توان به آن «هسته» که پیدا و پنهان است نزدیک تر شد. بنابراین می توان به یک شیوه یا ساختار کاربردی دست یافت تا بتوان به کمک آن آثار کلاسیک فارسی را از لحاظ داستانی به شکلی دقیق و البته بصورت توصیفی بررسی کرد و به وجوه تفاوت و اشتراک در شیوه های داستان پردازی شعرا و نویسندگان مختلف پرداخت
